Julie S. Rego Designs

I create pieced fabric designs that create visual movement with geometric patterns and color in two different fabric mediums. Banner Arts Studio specializes in pieced flag weight 100% nylon art banners for commercial interior and exterior applications, plus fun residential lawn banners. Quilting Arts specializes in 100% cotton designs of either solid colors or textural batik fabrics to create modern interior quilted wall-hangings, table runners, quilts and pillows.
My education and professional backgrounds include a BS- Interior Design with an emphasis in lighting design and an MS-Related Art Textile Design degree. My company, Banner Arts Studio, was established in 1989 following my graduate thesis project of exterior nylon textile banners on Bascom Hall at the University of Wisconsin- Madison. My banner installations are at numerous universities, churches, and businesses in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Illinois.
